FAQ
What types of books do you edit?
I can work on novels, memoirs, and other manuscript types that match my editing skills. Please message me with your genre and word count before ordering.
What is the difference between developmental editing and proofreading?
Developmental editing focuses on big-picture elements such as plot, structure, pacing, and characters. Proofreading focuses on surface-level errors such as spelling, punctuation, and typos.
What file format should I send?
Please send an editable Word document (.docx) unless we agree on another supported format before the order begins.
Can you edit my entire novel?
Yes, if the manuscript fits the scope, word count, delivery schedule, and package we agree on. Please contact me before ordering a full-length book.
Will you change my writing style?
My aim is to preserve your voice while making the agreed improvements. I will explain significant suggestions rather than unnecessarily rewriting your work.
