I've been playing classical piano since I was 4, but fell in love with drums during primary school.
I sang in an award winning choir for a few years, and built my own guitar after high school to teach myself before popping off to the NZ School of Music to study jazz performance drums.
I spent a few years gigging before going back to The College of Creative Arts to get a degree in Audio Engineering with a focus on recording bands in the studio.
Bought a bass to teach myself and have set up a home studio to produce independent music.
I now do session drumming and freelance live sound work.
