• At ICP, I am responsible for managing all types of procurement, including technical, non-technical, direct, and indirect procurement. This includes raw materials (chemicals), packaging items, industrial machinery (production equipment), and general supplies. • Carefully read and interpret the demands shared by factory stores, warehouses, the planning department, and other departments to accurately understand their requirements. • Analyze the market and identify optimal sources of supply for cost-saving and fast delivery. • Negotiate with vendors on product prices and freight costs, and send them purchase orders. • Track purchase orders and follow up with vendors and carriers to support timely deliveries. • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the planning, quality, production, and finance departments, to align supply chain processes with organizational goals. • Identify new and more cost-effective suppliers by participating in industry networking events, such as business expos, and visiting markets. • Maintain an up-to-date database of suppliers, vendors, and contracts to support accurate record-keeping. • Evaluate supplier performance and identify areas for improvement. • Maintain a current understanding of market conditions and trends in the industry. • Monitor pricing trends and negotiate pricing to optimize profitability. Achievements: • Successfully led the technical procurement project of a Semi-Automatic Steam Heat Tunnel Machine from China for shrink sleeve packaging • Also led the project of technical procurement of a semi-automatic Tube Filling and Sealing Machine acquired indigenously in Pakistan. • Within a short time, I introduced multiple strategic suppliers offering 30 to 120-day credit terms for various items, including chemicals, cream tubes, offset-printed inner boxes, corrugated cartons, gravure-printed pouches, blisters, and general supplies, resulting in significant cost reductions of raw materials, packaging items, and in general ord
