Visa is a top tier sponsor of the Olympic & Paralympic Games and as leader of Visa’s global corporate communications campaign for the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games, my key achievements included: • Created and implemented Visa Europe’s London 2012 Games communications strategy, with £1.3mln budget plus projects. • Advisory and counsel to C-level executives and board members for issues management and overall strategic communications approach, plus day to day profile management. • Established working group across internal, external, member, stakeholder and digital communications where no structured had previously existed. • Facilitated Visa’s key London 2012 stakeholder relationships including IOC, LOCOG, BOA, BPA, and oversight of all athlete communications. • Results achieved include: largest sponsor share of voice, more than 750 positive or neutral media articles and 117 interviews with Visa executives during the six weeks of the Games.
