Do I need a Stripe / PayPal account already?
Yes — you'll need an active account with your chosen provider (Stripe, PayPal, Braintree, etc.). I'll guide you through setup if needed, but the account stays in your name — you're the merchant on record.
Can you integrate into my existing Node.js project, or do I need to start over?
I work directly inside your existing codebase — Express, NestJS, Next.js API routes, or custom backends. No need to rebuild. Just give me repo access and I'll wire payments in cleanly without breaking what's already working.
Do you handle subscriptions, refunds, and disputes?
One-time payments are included in every tier. Subscriptions (recurring billing), refunds, and dispute handling come with Standard and Premium — or as a separate Gig Extra on top of Basic.
Will I be able to test the integration before going live?
Yes. Every tier includes full sandbox / test-mode setup — test card numbers, mock webhooks, and a clear go-live checklist for switching to production keys when you're ready.
Is the integration PCI-compliant?
I build integrations using Stripe Elements / Checkout / Payment Intents (or the equivalent for other providers) — meaning your server never touches raw card numbers. This keeps your PCI scope at the lowest level (SAQ-A). You stay compliant by design, not by promise.
What if I find a bug after delivery?
Each tier includes free revisions for anything that doesn't match the agreed scope. If you need new features or expanded scope after delivery, we agree on a fair price for the additional work — usually as a small follow-up order.
What do you need from me to start?
Three things: (1) your stack and repo access, (2) which payment provider you're using, (3) a quick description of the payment flows you need — one-time? subscriptions? marketplace splits? international cards? That's enough for me to confirm scope and get started same day.
