What systems can you integrate?
Almost any system with an API, database access, or file export capability. This includes CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot), accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero), e-commerce (Shopify, WooCommerce), ERPs, databases, and custom applications.
How does data synchronization work?
Depending on your package: (1) Scheduled sync runs at intervals you define (hourly, daily), (2) Near real-time polls for changes every few minutes, (3) Real-time uses webhooks or change detection for instant updates. I'll recommend the best approach based on your data volume and business needs.
What if one of my systems doesn't have an API?
I have several approaches for systems without APIs: direct database connections, file-based integration (CSV/Excel exports), screen scraping/RPA for web applications, or building a custom middleware layer. Legacy system integration is one of my specialties.
How do you handle data conflicts and errors?
I build comprehensive error handling including: conflict resolution rules (which system wins), automatic retry logic, error logging, and alerting. For critical integrations, I can set up a monitoring dashboard so you see sync status in real-time.
Will the integration break if one of the systems updates?
I design integrations to be resilient to minor API changes. Major changes may require updates, which is why I recommend the extended support option for production-critical integrations. I also document everything so any developer can maintain it.
